Business Continuity Planning Director Government of Manitoba

Paul is responsible for managing the (BCMP) Business Continuity Management Program including Incident Response Coordination for the Government of Manitoba’s Department of Justice.

Paul leads a team of Managers, Executives and designated staff through an advanced planning process, dedicated to continuous improvement. 

Paul is a respected, dedicated and results oriented professional. His commanding collaboration and facilitator skills produce valuable Business & Risk Analysis, enabling meaningful strategy development, risk mitigation and plan execution. 

During his 22 year career he has seen his fair share of events including: Pandemic outbreak,  suspicious packages, mail bombings, flooded buildings, IT and application failures, data loss and of course, extreme weather and spring flooding. Notable events and national headlines. 1997 - The flood of the Century, 2015 - Letter bomber, Guido Amsel, 2016 - Natural gas pipeline explosion and 2007 an F5 Tornado Elie Manitoba.

Paul lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (Home of the Winnipeg Jets) with his wife, son and extended family members.
