Mr. Michael C. Fedele has a 42 year history of business and managerial experience.

Currently, Mr. Fedele is the Vice President, General Manager of the Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc. (Mitsui USA) Trade Service Center (TSC), and concurrently serves as Regional Officer for the Mitsui USA Nashville Office.  The TSC provides financial, logistics, analytics, training services and support to the Mitsui & Co. Americas region.   

Mr. Fedele began his career with Mitsui USA in 1996 as Controller of the New York Office Accounting Department.  When appointed to the Mitsui USA SAP implementation team, a successful New York launch of SAP and the TSC occurred in 2000, with Mr. Fedele advancing to General Manager of the TSC. 

Under Mr. Fedele’s leadership, and with his full responsibility for all Mitsui USA logistic and financial services, the TSC was reorganized and relocated in 2002 to Nashville, TN, where the role of the TSC as service outsourcing support center expanded as the instrumental force in the development of operating policy and procedure standardization, which is the model for Mitsui globally.

In 2017 Mr. Fedele was promoted to Vice President, General Manager of the TSC and in 2019 assumed responsibility for a satellite office in Mexico City to service Mitsui’s Central & South America offices.

Before joining Mitsui USA, Mr. Fedele was the Chief Financial Officer of Shoe-Town, Inc., a national shoe retailer.  During his thirteen year tenure at Shoe-Town, he was intimately involved in taking the company public and subsequently private, and worked extensively with General Electric Capital Corporation who financed the leverage buyout of the company by management. 

Prior to Shoe-Town, Mr. Fedele was with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) for six years.  He was one of the original four members of a newly formed Private Business Department who helped develop it into a thriving section of KPMG’s New York practice.

In Tennessee, Mr. Fedele presently serves on the: Board of the Japan-America Society of Tennessee, Inc. as Treasurer, Board of the Nashville Chamber International Business Council Executive Committee, and Advisory Board of the Belmont University Center for International Business.  He is a passionate civic leader who believes strongly in active promotion of Mitsui USA CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) across the Nashville community and beyond.  In 2014, Mike received the Japan-America Society of Tennessee distinguished Chrysanthemum Award for “Exceptional Corporate Citizenship.”

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Fedele holds a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University, NY, and a CPA license. 

Mr. Fedele and his wife Rosemary now reside in Brentwood, TN, where he enjoys pickleball, gardening and hiking.
