David Bedard is the Chief Financial Officer of New York Life’s Investments Group.

He is responsible for all the finance functions for the Investments Group, as well as Risk Management.

Mr. Bedard re-joined the company in 2013 having previously worked at New York Life from 2007-2010 - first as CFO for New York Life Investments and subsequently for the U.S. Life Insurance and Agency division. Most recently, he was the President of the Annuities Business for ING U.S. His prior experience includes positions with The Hartford Financial Services Group, including as Head of the Global Annuities Runoff Organization and as CFO for the U.S. Wealth Management Group, and positions with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and Coopers & Lybrand LLP, where he was a partner.

Mr. Bedard holds a BS in Business Administration with a major in accounting from Nichols College and currently serves as a member of its Board of Trustees.
