Chris Piazza

SVP, Enterprise Financial Services Warner Bros.

Chris Piazza joined Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc (“WBEI”) in February 1999. 

From 1999-2007, Chris worked in the WB Consumer Products business unit.  During this time he held numerous roles which included Vice President worldwide financial planning, reporting and compliance responsibilities where he spent a significant amount of time in the international territories.  His duties included global oversight of shared accounting, credit, audit and finance. 

In 2007, Chris was appointed to lead the transition and integration of New Line’s international business into WB.  Post integration, he served as divisional CFO for WB’s New Line International Releasing (NLIR) business where his duties included day-to-day financial oversight of NLIR’s Theatrical, Home Entertainment and Television distribution business, which included the oversight of over 100 international distributors in 30+ countries.

In January 2010, Chris was promoted to Corporate Vice President of the newly formed Enterprise Financial Services (EFS) organization.  EFS is Warner Bros’ shared services organization which is responsible for managing and performing global finance and accounting on behalf of WB Business Units, International Territories and Corporate departments, as well as being the primary liaison for work which is performed by WB’s outsourcing partner, Capgemini.

In January 2014, Chris was elevated to Senior Vice President where he continues to have direct management oversight for global finance and accounting processes and activities across EFS and the outsourced operations.  He is the primary leadership contact for finance and accounting matters, liaising with executive management of the Business Units, International Territories and Corporate teams.  In addition to being directly accountable for EFS service delivery and operational management, Chris establishes the strategic and technical direction for EFS and drives alignment of EFS strategy with corporate objectives and business planning demands.

In March 2014, Chris was awarded the 2014 Thought Leader of the Year by the Shared Services and Outsourcing Network (SSON). 

Prior to joining WB, Chris began his professional career with Price Waterhouse in Los Angeles where he earned his CPA credential while providing audit/tax services for clients.

Chris is a graduate from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and received his MBA in Finance from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
