Ben Greenberg leads Portfolio Strategy for General Motors Global Business Services Organization. GM’s GBS organization:

• Consists of HR, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing service lines, as well as End-to-End Process Transformation
• Delivering services out of 6 main hubs: (1) Detroit/S.E. Michigan, (2) Manila/Philippines, (3) São Caetano/Brazil, (4) Silao/Mexico, (5) Ramos/Mexico (6) Bangalore/India
• Employing 2,500 direct employees, and another 1,500 outsourced employees dedicated to GM work who are managed by outside partners

Ben is accountable for evaluating new lines of business for fit in GM’s GBS operating model, optimizing and globalizing existing service lines already inside GBS, and executing the migration of new activities into GBS. Ben also leads the GBS data governance and master data management practice servicing the GBS Transformation activity and the greater enterprise.

Prior to joining GM, Ben founded and ran as CEO a transportation manufacturing and services company that he grew from a small operation to a leader in its space with operations and large labor force throughout North America; he sold the company to a public Fortune 500 firm. He was also a Vice President of Finance at Groupon, CFO of a fast-growing staffing firm, and lived and worked in Mexico City.

Ben earned an MBA from Yale and a BA from Michigan State University.
