Amy Burns is the Vice President, Six Sigma in U.S. Pharmaceutical, leading process improvements and optimization initiatives.

With over 1o years’ experience in McKesson leading and managing process improvement, Amy brings the technical knowledge, expertise and a thorough understanding of the methodologies that deliver measurable results. Amy’s leadership of operations and process improvement projects have led her to work in six McKesson Businesses leading projects, deploying new Six Sigma organizations and evolving service and support in the business. 

Amy is a two-time winner of McKesson’s Business Process Six Sigma Leadership Award and has led her teams to win consecutive Green Belt Leadership, Killer Project and Black Belt awards. She is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Prior to McKesson, she worked for Tyco Healthcare as a Process Engineer and Production Supervisor. Amy graduated from Fairmount State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
