Amaka Agumadu is the Global Head of HR Shared Services at Varian the world's leading manufacturer of medical devices and software for treating cancer and other medical conditions with radiotherapy, radiosurgery, proton therapy, and brachytherapy. Amaka has oversight for establishing and directing global HR shared service delivery including the vision, service framework, model and delivery tools across the Americas, EMEIA & APAC regions.

Her career has focused on optimizing and automating HR processes for increased efficiency. She also leverages technology to improve people management, reduce organizational cost and strengthen strategic HR capability while ensuring compliance with global legislative requirements and delivering high quality service to customers. Amaka has led global teams of HR professionals through periods of significant change including major organizational restructuring and divestitures, designing new HR operations processes and governance, launching service delivery models from the ground up, HRIS & ATS technology implementations and right shoring service delivery teams alongside people development initiatives.
